Welcome to the Minnow Blog!

About – The Minnow Blog was started out of the continued craziness that consumes the fishing social media world. Let’s face it, some of you take shit way to serious. The amount of hurt feelings that are generated from just one Facebook fishing group is simply insane. I mean, do you fish or do you just scroll through social media hating on people. If you are not going to fish then we need to put more fun into it.

The Minnow Blog is a parody of a news organization, and all content it publishes is satirical in nature. None of the content that is published should be taken seriously or as the truth. No reference of individual, company, or fishing group seeks to inflict malice or emotional harm. All pictures, drawings, anglers, fishing groups appearing in these articles, videos, pictures, etc., are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, or actual professional anglers, fishing organizations and companies is purely coincidental.

The Minnow Blog is meant to poke fun at things that people take too serious, so please don’t take this serious and have fun with it. Life is too short to not laugh and fish more. I was fortunate to grow up in a small and tight knit community. Joking and making fun of each other was just part of life. I tell people everyday, if I don’t make fun of you or give you a hard time. Well, I probably don’t like you and I’m not going to waste my time with your negative energy. That being said, if you find yourself a topic of a Minnow Blog, you should wear that like a badge of honor! If you are not, well maybe think about it for a second…but don’t ask.

Btw, The First Amendment protects parody/satire as a form of free speech and expression. The Minnow Blog uses invented names in all of its stories, except in cases where public figures are being satirized. Any other ruse of real name is again accidental and coincidental.

The Minnow Blog is not intended for readers under 18 years of age.
